Lower Lvl Private 2BR/1BA Family/Pet FriendlyBefore we begin, please note my family and I live here and parties/smoking are strictly forbidden. Now sit back and enjoy the lower level of our charming Georgian home just outside downtown Stamford. We are on the Stamford/Greenwich border which is only a 5 minute drive to not only downtown Stamford but also the Metro-North train with easy access to NYCYour area includes 2 bedrooms with comfortable queen beds, your own private bathroom and exclusive access to a full gym and 8 person home theater. One of the bedrooms includes 60 inch tv with access to Netflix while the home theater is connected to Netflix as well. The home theater includes a 110 inch projection along with leather reclining chairs and we have added additional seating to create a more intimate, comfortable living space for our guests. Please note that the separate entrance does include a flight of approximately 8 stairs down in order to enter the premises.The small bathroom has a large walk-in shower which also doubles as a steam shower.We offer other amenities as well which include a coffee maker, microwave, toaster, large and small fridge which we set up in the home theater but no oven. We do not have a kitchen in the basement however we start you off with some staples (coffee, soda), and you bring the rest. It’s important to note that our neighborhood has a suburban feel and there are no grocery stores, cafes, coffee shops, delis, restaurants, or bars within easy walking distance of the house. Downtown Stamford and other businesses are a quick 5 min drive (~$5 Uber) from our house.We are located on an approx. 1 acre lot relatively flat grade which includes a separate private entrance to your living space. The lot and neighborhood are great for dog walking. You’re also welcome to hang out in the backyard, which we also use, which includes a terrace and 8 person picnic table along with a gazebo.We are pet friendly and we do have a dog. You won’t have to interact with her (she is, however, very outgoing and loves attention). She is never allowed on your floor.We are a quiet, friendly couple who are happy to share our house. We’re eager to provide as much information as we can to help make your stay enjoyable. Please always feel free to ask us about anything and be sure to let us know about anything we’ve overlooked or run out of.We’re pretty busy during the week, but when we’re not, we love to stop and chat with guests who have time and inclination. We are respectful of those who prefer to be left alone to rest or enjoy the privacy of the suite.
